The St. Andrew’s Chapters Night was a big success, thanks to outstanding parent support! We all enjoyed the festive atmosphere and music, provided by St. Andrew’s students. We have a big thank you to Ms. Wong and our music students for making the evening especially festive. Thank you to our student volunteers for all their help, and to Mr. Howard, Ms. Dubeau and all the teachers who made it out to support our event. We would also like to thank Daphne Strathdee for coordinating this event, as well as all of our parent volunteers.
Ward Forum Meeting
Monday, November 30th, 7-9pm
Our School Trustee, Gerri Gershon, is having a Ward Forum meeting on Monday November 30th at Sunny View School. Our new Director, Dr. Chris Spence, will be addressing us with his “Vision of Hope”. Everyone is welcome! All details and the agenda are attached.
Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased from your child’s music teacher. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the concert. All tickets are $5; children five and under are free. Proceeds from the concert will be spent on replacing old musical instruments. Please plan on staying for the entire concert.
National Anti-Bullying Week, November 16 – 22, shines a light on bullying, sending a clear and positive message that it is neither acceptable nor inevitable in our school and community. During this week, our students will have the opportunity to work together to develop activities to prevent and deal with bullying through education and awareness.
Seven Steps to End Homework Hassles
The Halloween dance was a huge success – thank you to the teachers and students (as well as the parent volunteers during the Halloween bake sale) for their time and effort preparing the event.
