Chapters Night

images.jpgThe St. Andrew’s Chapters Night was a big success, thanks to outstanding parent support! We all enjoyed the festive atmosphere and music, provided by St. Andrew’s students. We have a big thank you to Ms. Wong and our music students for making the evening especially festive. Thank you to our student volunteers for all their help, and to Mr. Howard, Ms. Dubeau and all the teachers who made it out to support our event. We would also like to thank Daphne Strathdee for coordinating this event, as well as all of our parent volunteers.

The Halloween dance was a huge success

by Andrew Howard - Principal Click here to comment »

Halloween-dance.pngThe Halloween dance was a huge success – thank you to the teachers and students (as well as the parent volunteers during the Halloween bake sale) for their time and effort preparing the event.

As the letter sent home regarding the dance stated, this was a regular attendance day and students were expected to be in school at the dance or in class. Those students not attending the afternoon for whatever reason had to have a note with them in the morning. There were no students that were allowed to leave the dance early because it didn’t meet their expectations and students were not allowed to call home from the office to have permission to leave school. These events are in place for the students and a lot of effort goes into organizing them.

We hope that there will be continued enthusiasm for events such as this as many school memories are formulated at these events. Thank you to the parents who did write notes for their children to be excused (for whatever reason) as you helped to make the job of the office staff less hectic. For those of you at the dance, it was a great party and a ton of fun – thank you!
