Spirit Week is Coming!

One of the first initiatives of the St. Andrew’s Student Government representatives has been to organize Spirit Week, from November 23 to November 27. Please click here to see what fun and exciting activities your students will be involved in next week.

Forest Valley Excursion

On Wednesday, November 18th, Ms. Fair and her homeroom class visited Forest Valley Outdoor Education Centre for the day. She reports that the students learned about mapping and orienteering skills, and cooperative games with a focus on empathy, the Character Trait for the month of November at the T.D.S.B. They learned about how to put others first, and how to be aware of the needs of others. The class really enjoyed these activities.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to Operation Christmas Child this year. We are very happy that, thanks to your contributions, double the children will receive gift-bearing shoeboxes from our school this year than did last year. We send a huge recognition to Ms. Fair for heading up the campaign, bringing in and taking the boxes to the delivery point and to all the teachers and students who participated and showed their empathy for needy others in the world. We are already looking forward to next year’s campaign!
